Lindsey "Bomb Bomb" Graham is just like John "BombBomb" McCain. Have nukes will travel.

Last week, Joe Lieberman was crushed when Gen. BetrayUs refused to embrace Lieberman's demand for war on Iran.

So did Lieberman show his respect for the Great General and give up? Absolutely not.

He called his warmongering Republican friends Jon Kyl (R-AZ), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and Norm Coleman (R-MN), and persuaded them to co-sponsor an amendment to put the entire Senate on record demanding war with Iran.

Jonathan Schwarz has the exact language:

(3) that it should be the policy of the United States to combat, contain, and roll back the violent activities and destabilizing influence inside Iraq of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, its foreign facilitators such as Lebanese Hezbollah, and its indigenous Iraqi proxies;

(4) to support the prudent and calibrated use of all instruments of United States national power in Iraq, including diplomatic, economic, intelligence, and military instruments, in support of the policy described in paragraph (3) with respect to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its proxies.

Schwarz correctly adds:

If something like this passes both the House and Senate, I think Bush could legitimately argue that between it, the War Powers Act and the 2001 and 2002 Authorizations to Use Military Force, he has all the authority he needs to attack Iran.

In defending President Bush's surge in his Sept. 18 column, Sen. Lindsey Graham made the following astonishing admission:"The old strategy gave us no chance to avoid defeat in Iraq."

In other words, the plan the Bush administration pursued from 2003 through 2006, the plan that Graham and other Republicans in the Congress unfailingly defended, "gave us no chance to avoid defeat."

Now Graham asks us to believe that the advocates of that doomed strategy have finally got it right, that now they have a plan for victory.

Graham to speak to Richland Co. GOP

U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham will speak Monday at the August meeting of the Richland County Republican Party executive committee.

Graham, a Seneca Republican, will give an address at 6 p.m. at the community room of the Suggs & Kelly building, 500 Taylor St., at the corner of Huger and Taylor streets in Columbia.

Graham has been widely criticized for his support of a controversial immigration reform bill that failed in the Senate.

He was censured Aug. 6 by the Greenville County executive committee

SCGOP: If Graham's The Best We've Got To Offer, Then Frankly, We Suck.

The Dump Lindsey Graham site says it well.

Some tough reflection yields the following: If Lindsey Graham is the best that the South Carolina GOP can offer in 2008, then we're in a world of hurt, friends.

Strom Thurmond and Carroll Campbell must roll over in their graves when Mr. Graham bows to Ted Kennedy and plays footsies with Hillary Clinton. The SC Democrat Party has made it clear that if it appears Graham is safe in 2008, they won't pitch a strong Democrat candidate. That sounds good until you hear the reason: They love Lindsey Graham, and consider him a practicing Democrat!



Mr. Graham has been censured by the Greenville County GOP, and dodged the same fate in Spartanburg only because the county chairman there used archaic technical procedures to prevent a vote on a proposed censure. More censures are in the works across the state. It is clear that Mr. Graham has lost the confidence of those he is supposed to represent.

Demonstration at Spartanburg County Republican Committeemans Meeting, Aug. 23, 2007

A call went out to attend this meeting and/or demonstrate for censure of Empire Senator Lindsey Graham (Republican, S.C.).

The meeting was held outdoors at an ice cream parlor on Blackstock Road.

The Repub’s sound system was awful and it appeared they turned the volume down during critical discussion. They don’t even try to hide their mean tricks.

The place was packed. We were stunned when the Chairman announced there weren’t enough committeemen to make a quorum. What a weasel. He said there would be no voting on business tonight. And they didn’t.

The main attraction of this meeting was a Greenville-style resolution, censuring of Sen. Lindsey Graham. The resolution was read (volume turned down) and was “put into the minutes” but no vote was allowed. We know how the vote would have gone. It was obvious there were more people for censuring Graham than against. The Empire has got to stop the momentum of censuring their chosen ones. Things could get out of hand for them in a hurry. They had to do something to stop this vote and buy some more time.

I’m sure the resolution will be back.

Ron Paul supporters were there in larger than usual numbers. Tee shirts, stickers, signs and banners were all around.

There were people passing out “Dump Lindsey” bumper stickers. All the “dump Lindsey” folks and Ron Paul supporters were in a good mood. We had a good time.

There were quite a few SCLoS’ers, doing their thing.

The Greenville and Spartanburg worthless, commie newspapers were on hand.

There were four identifiable Graham supporters. The continual scowls on their faces told us their thoughts on the event. They didn’t like all the anti-Lindsey signs and talk. One fat Graham-cracker went around taking photos of all anti-Lindsey demonstrators. I suppose we will now be on the “No-Fly” list the goons keep.

This event was still a defeat for Graham.

Patriots had a good showing.

GOP rally in county might put Graham on hot seat

Lindsey Graham is a disgusting thing. Spartanburg knows this just as well as Greenville. Here's what one of his Greenville flunkies had to say about Spartanburg Republicans.

"There is no question that there is some unrest among the hard-core natives," said Chip Felkel, a Republican strategist in Greenville.

"But I hope logic and reason will rule the day. When it comes down to it, the guy's got $6 million in the bank. Unless all this ranting and raving turns into cash, it doesn't matter. And I sure hope Rick Beltram has more control over the party than that."

Did you catch that?

There's unrest among the natives! But don't let their ranting and raving worry you none, old Belt-Ram has the party natives under control (I HOPE). Besides, Senor Gramnisty's got a wad of pesos that would choke a goat! So tell the Republican voters bigots to shut up!

Thursday's forecast: The temperature should drop, but political heat will flare. And there's a slight chance of censure.

That evening, the Spartanburg County Republican Party will hold a rally mostly concerned with presidential politicking, but another hot topic should be U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham's quest for re-election.

Graham has drawn heat on the home front for several controversial positions, including siding with Arizona Sen. John McCain on the failed immigration reform deal that rocked Congress - and the Republican voting base - this summer. Opponents of the bill, such as fellow U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., called it "amnesty."
